We saw-cut the damaged asphalt for sharp, defined edges, removed debris, and laid down and compacted more 2A modified stone. Then, we applied 2.5 inches of 9.5mm asphalt to restore strength and appearance.
These targeted repairs helped stabilize key traffic areas while extending the lifespan of the rest of the lot.
2. Sealcoating & Crack Filling: Preventing Future Damage
After completing the repairs, we proceeded with sealcoating the entire church lot, which spanned 20,531 square feet. Using a high-quality sealer, we ensured every inch of the pavement was protected against UV damage, moisture penetration, and oil spills.
We also filled 3,363 feet of cracks, sealing out water and protecting the pavement from Palmyra’s freeze-thaw cycles that can cause cracks to spread.
